The speaker of the house Shap Smith read a letter form Governor James T. Douglas today in the well of the state house appointing Robert C. Krebs and Oliver K, Olsen to fill two vacancies in the General Assembly. As Shap looks on Robert C. Krebs and Oliver K. Olson are sworn in by the clerkof the house Don Milne.
